This policy explains how personal information is handled when you use tourocco.com, contact us or book a trip. It should be read together with our Terms & Conditions.

Who we are

Tourocco LLC, a limited liability company registered in the United States (State of Wyoming), with its principal office at 30 N Gould St, Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States, is the data controller for personal data collected through tourocco.com. Our tours are operated by our team in Morocco. Contact for privacy requests: contact@tourocco.com.

Information we collect

• Identity and contact data: name, email address and, if you provide them, your phone or WhatsApp number and country.
• Trip and booking data: travel dates, group size, preferences and special requests, and passport details only when required to book hotels or services for you.
• Payment data: card payments are processed by Stripe. We receive confirmation of the payment together with your name, email, phone number and the booking details (tour, date, group size and amount). We never see or store your full card number.
• Technical data: approximate location, device and browser information and pages visited, only if you accept analytics cookies (see below).

If you contact us on WhatsApp, phone or email, we also receive the information you share in those messages.

Why we use it

• To answer enquiries, prepare quotes and manage bookings.
• To arrange services with partners (hotels, drivers, guides), sharing only the data they need.
• To send booking confirmations and communicate with you about your trip.
• To improve the website, keep it secure, prevent spam or abuse, and meet legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal data.

How your request is delivered

Trip requests submitted on this website are sent by email to our team at contact@tourocco.com through an email delivery service. WhatsApp messages are handled by WhatsApp under its own terms and privacy policy.

Online payments

When you pay a deposit online, you are sent to a secure payment page operated by Stripe, which collects and processes your card details, name, email address and phone number under its own privacy policy. Stripe also sends you a payment receipt by email.

Sharing and transfers

We share your data only with service providers acting on our behalf (website hosting, email delivery, payment processing, analytics and partner suppliers) and when required by law. Our company is based in the United States and our team works in Morocco, so your data may be processed in those countries and in the countries where our providers operate; we require appropriate safeguards for these transfers.

Cookies and tracking

• Essential cookies and storage: needed for the website and booking form to work, and to remember your cookie choice.
• Analytics cookies: if you accept, we use Google Analytics 4 to measure how visitors use the site (pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser) so we can improve it. Nothing is set until you accept in the cookie banner; if you decline, no analytics cookies are set. Google signals and ad personalization are switched off.
• Advertising and marketing cookies: this website does not use them. If that changes, they will only be set with your consent.

You can change your choice at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser settings. Disabling some cookies may affect website features.

Retention

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above and for legal or accounting requirements, typically up to 5 years after your trip. Enquiries that do not lead to a booking are kept only as long as needed to respond to you.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction, deletion or restriction of your data, and object to certain processing, by emailing contact@tourocco.com. Rights are exercised in accordance with the data protection laws that apply to you, including the GDPR where applicable and Moroccan Law 09-08 for processing carried out in Morocco. You may also lodge a complaint with the competent authority (for example the CNDP in Morocco, or your local data protection authority).

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures (SSL encryption, access controls) to protect your data. No online transmission is completely secure.
